About an hour ago I received an email with a song that I just couldn’t wait to post up. Yuu is a song that most of us can relate to as it is about an ex pleading to be taken back. I know we’ve all been on either side of that sad scenario at least once in our lives and Coldway’s pleadings make you the listener hope for the best. He’s on the rise and it’s without a doubt that he’ll be a household name soon enough. He’s already pinned a hit song titled Water which was featured on the soundtrack of Spike Lee’s film Da Sweet Blood of Jesus. I’ll save the rest of my pro Coldway banter another day, but for now press play and vibe with me to Coldway’s latest single Yuu and get into Water as well below:
LA based, Folk/Rock Singer-Songwriter Mackin Carroll recently dropped his second EP titled “Damascus”. The three song EP features a more vulnerable and raw side of Mackin. Each song invites us into his secret place while he takes us on an emotional journey, it’s as if he’s playing each song right in our living room. One great thing about each song is that they all have separate meanings, one more complex than the first. However, if you truly listen to the words you may find some of your own personal experiences intertwined in Carroll’s lyrics.

Dream-Pop/Evoca-Pop’s latest sensation is the phenomenally talented rel. Some may be wondering what Evoca Pop is, well let me explain. It’s music that makes you think and feel and that’s exactly the kind of music rel creates. Her latest single Factory is about being “a young feminist is the 21st Century and it paints the picture ever so clear. The LA singer-songwriter is hard at work working on a follow up to her self titled EP (released in 2015) and soon enough we’ll get to enjoy even more of her dreamy lyrics.
SAAY’s (Sometimes Anger Alludes Yearning) Bad Women is one of those songs that will have you “turning up” in the club, dancing around in the house, or blasting in your car!!! It’s one of those catchy tunes that can even get the shyest person in the room on their feet. It features MTV’s Tori Deal and Leon Marin and it’s a definite summer anthem. Bad Women is off of SAAY’s upcoming EP titled “Chrysalis” which will drop August 31 and which also features the leading single “No Love”. While we wait for his anticipated EP vibe with me to SAAY’s latest single “Bad Women” and see how many you can spot.
